What Is a Coastal Curiosity?

A Coastal Curiosity isn’t just a limited edition gin. It’s something a bit more personal than that. It’s an idea that starts small (maybe sparked by a moment on the coast, a scent in the air, or a story we’ve heard) and grows into something worth bottling.

These small-batch spirits are made right here at Whitby Distillery, but they’re not just our creations. They’re shaped with the help of some very important people: our Founders' Club.

As part of their membership, our founders get early access to our test batches called 'Rarities' these are a first taste of whatever we're experimenting with behind the scenes. They sip, swirl, and send us their thoughts. And we take that feedback seriously. Because the best ideas don’t always come from inside the distillery walls — sometimes they come from the people who’ve supported us from the very beginning.

What makes a Coastal Curiosity special isn’t just the limited number of bottles — it’s the spirit of exploration behind it. These gins are where we push boundaries, try something new, and make something just a little unexpected.
