For 2025, that story lies in the quiet power of the rose, a symbol of remembrance, romance, and, in Victorian folklore, protection from the supernatural. According to old tales, a single rose placed on a coffin could trap the soul or the vampire inside, shielding the living from what lies beyond.
This year’s Founders’ Edition Gin draws directly from that gothic tradition. It’s a hauntingly elegant spirit: a delicate blend of rosehip and rose petals, carried by bright citrus, classic juniper, and a whisper of warming spice.
This is a gin with presence bold, bittersweet, and quietly powerful.
The Founders’ Edition is not available to the public. It’s crafted in limited quantities each year, bottled by hand, and reserved exclusively for members of our Endeavour Club, the heart of the Whitby Distillery community.
