We’re opening the next chapter of Whitby Distillery and, once again, inviting people to be part of it.
Back in 2017, we started in a small utility room with a simple idea, to create something people could take home after making memories in Whitby. Since then, it’s grown into something much bigger. A distillery, a shop in the heart of town, a brilliant team, and a community we’re incredibly proud of.
Over the past few years, we’ve produced over 390,000 bottles, reached more than 18,000 direct customers, and grown to over 1.6M in annual sales, all while staying true to doing things properly, in our own way.
Our first raise helped us build the distillery.
This next one is about opening it up.
With our new home at Abbey Lands now taking shape, this is about bringing the space to life, creating a place people can visit, explore and spend time in, and building something that feels true to Whitby.
Why we’re raising
This round will help us complete the distillery, develop the visitor experience, and continue expanding what we make, including what we’ve quietly started laying down for the future.
It’s about doing it properly, and doing it for the long term.
